Payroll Giving
Some workplaces in New Zealand offer payroll giving.
It simply means you can choose to donate directly from your wages through your employer’s payroll system. The amount you choose comes out before it reaches your bank account, and because Kiwis Together is a registered charity, the 33% tax credit is applied automatically in that same pay.
There’s nothing extra to do. No receipts to keep. Nothing to claim back later from IRD. It just quietly happens in the background.
We don’t manage payroll giving ourselves — your employer does. So if your workplace already offers it, you can ask payroll to nominate Kiwis Together Charitable Trust as your chosen charity. If they don’t offer it yet, you’re welcome to suggest it to them.
Our whole model is built around small, steady contributions, so payroll giving fits naturally with the way we operate.
It’s simply another way everyday Kiwis can back other everyday Kiwis.
