What We Do
At Kiwis Together, our goal is simple: to help New Zealanders access medical and health-related support that may otherwise be out of reach.
Funded by everyday Kiwis contributing as little as $1 a week, we help cover the cost of treatments, therapies, medical equipment, specialist services, surgeries, medications and other health related needs that can make a meaningful difference to someone’s quality of life.
Every application is individually considered. If approved, payments are made directly to approved providers and suppliers, not the individual seeking support.
Imagine the impact: 1 million Kiwis donating $1 a week.
This collective effort can alleviate the burden of individual fundraising and ensure immediate access to life-saving and life-changing treatments.
But we can't do it without your help and the support of people and businesses across Aotearoa.

Our Commitment
Kiwis Together was founded on the belief that nobody should have to face health challenges alone. We are committed to using donations responsibly and ensuring that as much funding as possible reaches the people who need it most.
We operate with minimal overheads, no paid staff, and no expensive office. We work from our homes, volunteer our time, and focus on keeping costs low so that donations can be directed where they matter most.
We also respect your privacy. We won’t knock on your door, cold call you, spam your inbox, or pressure you for support. We simply ask Kiwis to stand alongside other Kiwis when they can.
What We Fund
As Kiwis Together continues to grow, we receive a significant number of enquiries and applications from around New Zealand. To help us support as many people as possible, funding applications are currently limited to a maximum of $1,000 per person.
What We May Fund
We consider a wide range of medical and health-related applications, including but not limited to:
• Specialist treatments and therapies
• Unfunded medications
• Medical equipment and supplies
• Health-related travel and treatment costs
• Overseas treatments unavailable in New Zealand
• Urgent treatment needs where delays may impact wellbeing
• Other health-related costs considered within the scope of our Trust

Exclusions
While we aim to help as many people as possible, there are some areas that fall outside the scope of our Trust:
• Drug and alcohol rehabilitation
• Animal charities
• Mental health services
• Community groups (unless fundraising for a specific medical need)
• Palliative care
• Sports groups
• CBD oil or medicinal marijuana
• Religious treatments
• Miracle cures
• Weight-loss surgery
• Publicly funded equipment
• Dental treatment (except in exceptional circumstances)
