EMERY NEEDS OUR HELP
We have been contacted by the parents of Emery, a child living with Rett syndrome — a rare neurological condition that affects almost every part of her daily life.
Movement. Speech. Coordination. Independence.
All the things most children grow into naturally, Emery has to fight for.
To keep progressing, Emery needs ongoing specialized therapy at the Centre of Movement in Rotorua.
It isn’t funded. It isn’t optional.
And her family simply cannot keep up with the cost alone.
They’ve fundraised before, stretched themselves thin, and done everything they can.
And through it all, Emery’s parents remain incredibly positive about her future.
They believe in her. They see what these sessions make possible. And they are determined not to let Rett syndrome take away the gains she is working so hard to make.
Their message to us was simple:
“Any help towards her sessions would be incredible.”
